Guards

So apparently there are two sets of guards in Cybermall, where I parked last Friday. There are the guys in the typical white and navy blue guard's uniform - apparently these guys work for an agency and are in charge of the parking lot - and there are the guys in the blue barongs - they work for Eastwood administration and are in charge of the building itself.

I've been coming to this mall for one thing or another over the past few years and many of the blue barong guys are familiar to me and I to them. They were very nice and helpful to me when all the hullabaloo with my car was going on. last Friday. There was just one time when the guard himself couldn't authorize that I leave my car in the delivery bay and he said authorization had to come from his superior. When I asked to speak to his superior, he called him, the higher-ranking guy came (another familiar face), talked to me nicely and gave approval to leave my car there.

The superior officer of the parking lot guards was nice and helpful too. In contrast though, the parking lot guard himself was only helpful to a point then completely didn't care what happened to me. He helped push my car when it was stuck on the landing. He helped push me to each of the ramp so I could coast down them. He helped push me to the delivery bay. One there, however, I was told that the tow truck couldn't come anymore, I couldn't leave my car there and he wasn't going to help me get the car to where I could leave it. He actually told me that he only helped me because I was in the parking building but now that I was outside it (in their delivery bay) he wouldn't help me anymore because it was now my problem. Of all the nerve! I realize that maybe he could only help me so much, but don't tell me it's now my problem but I can;t leave it where it is. If I can;t leave it where it is, and I can't get it out of there on my own, then it's YOUR problem too, isn't it, idiot? So it's my problem, but I can't leave it there until morning. Whatever. As if I can pick the car up with my little finger and stick it in my pocket until help will come in the morning.

Thankfully the blue barong guys helped. Okay, venting done.
