Food Journal: October 10, 2008

  1. 2 bowls of the veggies in tinolang manok (green papaya and whatever the little round leaves were) with rice
  2. half a glass of taho
  3. 6pcs dried mango
  4. 1 glass of milk
I'll probably go for another glass of milk before bed...

The chicken empanada in the fridge was mocking me. Thankfully I was able to stay away by telling myself I was just hungry and I'd feel full after the veggies, broth and rice.

UPDATE: Yup, had that other glass of milk. I also couldn't sleep so I ended up eating a bowl of cocoa crispies (only cereal in the house) and milk.

Those little green leaves are malunggay - I love malunggay! You are trying to be vegetarian? I was a vegetarian for two years in college....

Why'd you stop being vegetarian?

I don't know. :o( But my mom makes this awesome soup with malunggay, corn, and squash. Yummmmmm.

It was so hard being a vegetarian and my parents didn't approve!
